Job description
We are looking for an engineer-researcher specializing in the development of measurement systems for ionizing radiation instrumentation. You will join a dynamic team and contribute to innovative research and development projects in this field.
You will be involved in a key project aimed at designing and developing new instrumentation for ionizing radiation measurement, specifically in developing instrumentation dedicated to dose measurement as part of a new cancer therapy.
Your role will be to serve as a key technical contributor to the development of measurement system prototypes, covering:
The design and development of instruments,
The execution of tests and measurement campaigns.

Applicant Profile
Required Skills and Expertise:
We are looking for a candidate with expertise in:
Radiation detection and the development of associated instrumentation,
Measurement using plastic scintillators and/or semiconductors (diamond, SiC) – a plus,
Electronics applied to measurement systems,
Software development for data acquisition and processing (C, C++, C#, Python),
Monte Carlo simulations using reference codes such as MCNP, GEANT4, or equivalents.
Profile:
Degree in physics, instrumentation, electronics, or a related field,
Experience in designing, developing, and testing instrumentation,
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment with physicists, medical physicists, and chemists,
Strong analytical skills, autonomy, initiative, and excellent interpersonal skills.
