General information
Organisation
The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) is a key player in research, development and innovation in four main areas :
• defence and security,
• nuclear energy (fission and fusion),
• technological research for industry,
• fundamental research in the physical sciences and life sciences.
Drawing on its widely acknowledged expertise, and thanks to its 16000 technicians, engineers, researchers and staff, the CEA actively participates in collaborative projects with a large number of academic and industrial partners.
The CEA is established in ten centers spread throughout France

Division description
CEA Tech is a world leader in technological research. Its teams of research engineers are mobilized to build and transfer to industrial partners technology portfolios that meet the needs of the telecommunication sector. Leti, one of CEA Tech's institutes, focuses on micro/nanotechnologies and their applications in wireless communication systems and components. The RFIC laboratory develops systems-on-chip and modules in Silicon and III-V technologies.
Description de l'unité
The RFIC lab develops systems-on-chip and modules in Silicon and III-V technologies for industrial partners. The major challenges of the latest generation of wireless systems concern the integration of the critical functions on the most compact and efficient systems possible. In addition, the increase in throughput and communication range requires the use of increasingly high transmission power and frequency bands, with increasingly wide bandwidths. In this context, it becomes necessary to combine different technologies in highly integrated modules capable of achieving optimal system performance. This integration of several technologies offers increased flexibility and performance while ensuring a very high level of integration. This position of RFIC Design Engineer aims to reinforce the team in the field of circuit design for RF power applications.
