Job description
In collaboration with our technology integration and characterization engineers and technicians, and with integrated circuit design teams—as well as our academic and industrial partners—you will work at the intersection of research and industry. Your role will be to help simulate and model the devices that will soon enable the secure and energy-efficient processing of ever-growing volumes of data.
As part of the development of CMOS transistors in particular, your mission as a research engineer in simulation and modeling for microelectronic devices will include:
Developing physical models for MOS transistors,
Simulating their behavior to make predictive assessments based on potential changes to various parameters (materials, architecture, etc.),
Contributing to the standardization of models within the framework of the CMC (Compact Model Coalition) in collaboration with foundries, software vendors, and other research organizations,
Presenting your work to internal stakeholders in the short term, and to external partners, including during international meetings.
To carry out these tasks, you will use SPICE-type compact modeling, commercial software tools (Ansys, Comsol, Synopsys, Cadence, Silvaco…), as well as in-house software developed by our teams.
